[hpsdr] hpsdrsvr error

Never let a Windoze geek near a linux box.  Overall however, the ubuntu sure appears to have a lot to offer with all the excellent work done by N6LYT and others.  I'm trying to get up to speed.

When I run the hpsdrsvr program I get the following error:

Listening for TCP connections on port 11000
open /dev/hpsdr0: No such file or directory

Can somebody provide a clue as to where I need to go for a solution from here?
