[hpsdr] Design of a metal box sutiable for HPSDR to be published in RadCom September 2010

G'day

 

Those who are interested in constructing a simple metal box with a minimum
of tools to mount the printed circuit boards for a basic HPSDR transceiver
(i.e. Atlas, Ozy, Penelope and Mercury) may be interested to know that the
Radio Society of Great Britain's journal 'RadCom' for September 2010
contains a design for such a box.

 

The design by Bob Crowe, VK6CG, is the centrepiece of the second part of an
article called 'Making Metal Boxes (for the computer generation)' by VK6CG,
who has assisted Phil VK6APH and myself with advice about mechanical design
on a number of occasions.
