[hpsdr] Morse transcription project

I want to write software that will transcribe Morse CW.  This has of
course been done.  But my goal is slightly different.  Most all of
these programs accept an audio signal and transcribe the CW from one
transmitter.   I want to look at the entire bandwidth of a SDR
receiver and simultaneously transcribe all CW in band.  I have some
ideas about methods that could be used that I don't see implemented in
other software.  Also I have a few hours a week at work to write some
kind of "demo" or "test" software and I may as well pick a project I
find interesting.

That's the background, now for two questions:

1) I know many people here are subscribed to multiple email lists.  So
anyone know about one where SDR or digital mode software development
internals are discussed.  Most lists are for end users.   Questions
I'd ask are about maximum likelihood algorithms and DSP.

2) Anyone have any good recordings of CW.  I'll need good test data of
both "easy" and "hard" examples. I can use either audio or I/Q data.
It is good to have test data from a wide variety of sources with a
wide range of quality
