Okay.  In an effort to clear up possible misconceptions that may have  
been generated by the discussion on this thread:

32-bit PowerSDR v1.19.3, and other PowerSDR variants which are  
necessarily 32-bit code due to their mixed-language nature, can run  
fine on a Win 7 64-bit machine, but not directly.  When such a program  
does run on the 64-bit platform, it must do so via an emulation mode  
that is, essentially, transparent to the user.  It cannot be run as a  
64-bit program, because it isn't.

The relevant point here is that you are not out in the cold with  
respect to PowerSDR and its variants if you have purchased a new 64- 
bit Win 7 machine.  The PowerSDR programs can run on your machine  
whether those programs have mixed-language code in them or not (they  
do, for the most part, as George pointed out), via a "trick"; namely,  
emulation.
