I'm not sure I totally understand your question.  The data rate of the I
and Q signals from the PC to Ozy/Magister/Metis is currently 48ksps.  That
means the the maximum audio signal bandwidth can be 24kHz.

By altering the parameters of the interpolating filters on Penelope you
can increase the bandwidth of the transmitted signal. From memory the DUC
has a 1dB point at 5kHz.

You can increase the data rate up to the limits of the hardware (i.e. USB2
or Gigabit), its just a S.M.O.P.  (Simple Mater Of Programming).
