Irony is my middle name, I had purchased a backplane and a decent soldering station. I was waiting on all the misc tools and supplies so I could solder without disaster.

Is there an actual published plan of intent for the project? I'd hate to pursue a dead end, or something that as maintained as a legacy project for the means of calming the masses.
