I think I am running the latest software and it works great! But I do have a couple of comments…..

I'm running:  HPSDR v2.2.3(W5WC - 11/30/11)

Metis 1.6
Mercury 3.1
Penelope 1.6
with Alex & Excalibur

Comment One. The attenuator (ATT) displays the selections:  0dB, -20dB, -10dB, -20dB, -30dB, -40dB, -50dB

Comment Two. On Alex Ctrl, selecting Band 20m, Transmit 3 (antenna)  Actually selects Transmit "2" . All other selections are correct.
