[hpsdr] Metis and using other computers on the network

I would like to install PowerSDR on my laptop to be able to control
my HPSDR and listen to the receiver (and possibly transmit SSB).

If I install VAC on the laptop with PowerSDR will I be able to listen
and transmit?  Or... any other ideas?
