[hpsdr] Center frequency

Hi everyone,
I wonder if there is a way to output the HPSDR center frequency on the display? I only need 10 kHz resolution. A while ago I picked up a nice cubic pre-post selector with a built in T/R relay. It takes 4-4bit BCD parallel control bits to tune 1.6 to 30 MHz. All built in a 1u rack panel.  A serial stream of frequence through a shift register would be an easy interface. Binary would be okwith the addition of a look up table.
