[hpsdr] Using Flex SDR-1000 PA with HPSDR

My SDR-1K recently took a lightning hit.  I'm debating on whether to 
spend the money to have it repaired or use the 100W PA with HPSDR.  I 
believe one or two people have already done this and IIRC, the Flex PA 
is potentially a good match for Penelope since it's drive power 
requirements match the output of Penny.  Does anyone have any 
advice/ideas on the suitability of using this PA with HPSDR?
