Speaking of hassling people who have basements full of Tektronix, my DSO
Quad and Bus Pirate have both arrived.
See http://garden.seeedstudio.com/index.php?title=DSO_Quad
and http://dangerousprototypes.com/bus-pirate-manual/
Very impressive. Bright clear display, really nice molded plastic
package rather than the project boxes that are usually used for Open
Hardware.
Looking at this, I really can see a day coming when we can buy all of
our test equipment as Open Hardware, with Open Source inside.

     Thanks

     Bruce
