Joe,

I can not find the complete Verilog project for Mercury V6.4 and I do not
know how to handle the backup file which is on your pages.
Did you cancel MDOUT 4...7 ?
A modified Atlas Bus Pin Definition would be useful for compiling your code
for Mercury-EU.

Gerd, DJ8AY

Hi,
I?found my over modulation problem for two tone testing. TX set up tab?I had
to increase the AM% setting.?I had it too low which caused the two tone to
be over modulated.?At 80%?I was close to 100% modulation of the two tones.

Hey Frank, that's why it's called SDR, you gotta make sure the software is
defined correctly before the radio will play correctly. LOL!

To John at TAPR, and of interest perhaps to non-US buyers:

Many thanks John,

Metis board arrived today. I have not yet attempted to check it out, but
it has arrived.

I ordered "early", before the official announcement of the TAPR page
being open. I did not expect any treatment other than being processed
when TAPR (i.e. John) got to the order in the due course of events.

My credit card was charged on 24 Feb, with the board arriving today 7
March. FB service in my view.

Keep up the good work team!

Regards,

Peter VK3KAI / VK3PF

Dear All,

I've just finished to set-up my second HPSDR which are composed of Mercury,
Penelope, and Ozy.
I have the same configuration of another HPSDR, my first one, with which
I've been working for almost one year. I alwasy use Line input by modifying
initozy.

The only difference between them is Atlas board. My first one is with TAPT
Atlas board. The second one is with 3-slots Euro Atlas board made by DJ8AY.

The reception is quite OK for both. With the second one, Line input doesn't
work, but mic input is OK. With Line input the audio is distorted and very
very low level.

The PC, initozy are the same, the exchange of Penny between has no
difference.

Do you have any idea?

Best regards,

Tokio Endo

Hi,

I am using a wireless USB headset and it works fine. However, I have never
been able to use VOX. It does not seem to activate it. Am I missing
something? Or the PowerSDR is supposed to support VOX with this kind of
mike?

Everyone,

The latest version of PowerSDR/OpenSDR v1.19.3.3 (svn 1909 3/6/11) has
line-in and 20 dB mic gain hardware controls added to the Setup>Transmit
tab. The write_i2c commands were removed as this is now performed in
PowerSDR.

I have finally figured out how to configure my Windows 7 system so that I
can record Line Input and application generated audio at the same time. It
requires the Virtual Audio Cable.
I use my receiver audio (an ICOM R7000) coming into Line Input, my Tone
Generator software and record using my Spectrum Analyzer.

If your interested in this set up you can see the details at:
