[hpsdr] programming penelope via METIS - fails

Hello Anybody,

I programmed successfully my two mercury boards via METIS, but doing so 
with Penelope it obiously fails.

The programming process ends everytime correctly like described in Metis 
document. After inserting the board in the target slot of the atlas 
board and powercyle, led #7*does not indicate* "firmware loaded" and 
therefore PowerSDR does not recognize Penelope.

I am using hpsdr programmer by n6lyt.

Is there a work around available?
