Scotty and Dan were on the TS session on a weekly basis shortly before the Metis release, and I at least attempted to let folks know whenever I had something new. I made a post to this list on January 22 saying that there should be shipping product early in February, and Scotty made an update on January 21. Scotty also made updates to this list about Metis manufacturing progress on December 31 and February 1. I'm not sure that's three months without ETAs.

To be fair, there has only been speculation that John has prioritized US orders over foreign ones. Nobody in a position to know has said anything about this speculation. I have no clue what the truth of the matter is, but I can certainly try to find out for you.

Again, I understand your frustration and eagerness to get your hands on the Metis you've ordered. It must sound conceited coming from someone who already has theirs. Let's also remember as I've said before that these are being shipped out by a single TAPR volunteer in Texas. They must each be individually packaged, wrapped, addressed, billed, etc. If this were to take even 5 minutes apiece, for the 300 or so Metis boards ordered, that would be four 8 hour days worth of packing and shipping.

That being said, if folks that are getting nervous about their order would contact me privately, I'm happy to see what I can find out for you from John.

We're looking into alternate ways to handle logistics, but I can't tell you what will become of it.

I really don't want to sound dismissive and if I am, I apologize. My honest intent is to see if we can get you some info on where your Metis board is. Let me see what I can find out for you.
