Dear Stephen,
The problem is that PowerSDR wants I/Q data (quadrature data) and NOT
'stereo left-right' data in to processs.  So using 'direct audio' is not a
suitable connection to a Janus card or thru it to PowerSDR.  You will NOT
decode audio properly on RX.  Likewise, you SEND I/Q data (not mono or
stereo data) TO the radio to TX.

This is what Phil VK6APH was asking about (politely, as a Brit) when he
asked if the TS480 could provide I/Q data out...
