[hpsdr] solid state final stability

Hi,
A trick I have seen on a number of solid state finals is to add a lug or hunk  of copper flashing between the transistor flange bolts to the emitter leads to get the device to a better ground.
I've seen this in some MRI amps and my Drake TR7A.  Does your amplifier have RF feedback.
I know some early 12 volt CCI amps didn't use feedback. It might be worth adding to tame the gain a bit. Frank
