[hpsdr] Hermes/Metis Gnuradio update

Tom, Phil, Berndt, and John,  
I want to thank and acknowledge all of you for your contributions to this
discussion.  Pleased to learn that others are interested as am I.  GRC is a
good learning laboratory for anyone who might want to experiment with DSP.
Working with GRC challenges with an OS platform and a do-it-yourself
application format which is different from the Windows / PSDR system that so
many of us are familiar with.  Until Tom did his development work, I was not
aware of any way to marry the HPSDR hardware world with GRC.   I am relieved
that it may be feasible to use the Atlas based HPSDR with GRC.  Have to
think this through........
