Hi Dave -- TAPR will be offering a bare board as well as the fully assembled and tested unit.  We're not planning to work up a set of build instructions, as anyone who tackles building the board will need skills at a level where instructions won't mean much -- it's very high density surface mount parts.   The TAPR boards will all be machine-built.

While I think there will be a basic parts list available, it probably won't reference common supplier part numbers as the Hermes production build will be sourced from a lot of different suppliers (e.g., who has 'em in stock, and who has 'em cheap, for quantities in the hundreds.)
