[hpsdr] Two Mercury & one penelope in one Atlas

Hi Tokio,
I use four receivers on one Mercury with one wide band magnetic loop
antenna. That way I can monitor 160m, 20m, 17m and 12m at the same time.
A multi-band vertical would give the same result.
For your 80m dipole and Tribander you could build a simple diplexer that
would combine the output of the antennas on receive.
Multiple Mercury boards are ideal for beam forming, or nulling interference,
since that is not possible with a single board.

Subject: [hpsdr] Two Mercury & one penelope in one Atlas
***** High Performance Software Defined Radio Discussion List *****
Hi All,
Flex-radio announced Flex 6700 would have two SCU(Spectral Capture Unit). In
terms of configuration, I think it is an equivalent of two Mercury in one
Atlas.
Is it possible to use this cofiguration by running one PowerSDR for both of
TX and RX at the same time another PowerSDR for RX only. Thanks to this, we
can differentiate antenna, one Mercury connected to 80meters DP, the other
to Tribander Yagi.
It is a little bit difficult to imagine to use 4 receivers on one Mercury
with ONE antenna.
