[hpsdr] Startup Problems

Thanks for the reply, Phil.  I am using PowerSDR v2.2.3.1.  I think this is the correct version.  The Penelope f/w is version 1.7 (my e-mail said v2.2.3 incorrectly).

The Metis board is connected directly to my PC ethernet port.  I am also running a wireless LAN on the PC.  The PC processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.93 GHz with a Win7  S/P 1, 32 bit O/S.

The system was running fine with the old Magister board and earlier f/w versions for Mercury and Penelope.

Do you have any ideas on what might be the problem?

Hi Ken,

Which version of PowerSDR are you using?  The latest dual receiver W5WC version should work with these versions.

All,

I am in the process of switching from Magister to Metis.  My current setup is as follows:

Metis (v1.8)
Mercury (v3.2)
PennyWhistle (v1.7)
PowerSDR (v2.2.3)
Excalibur
Alexiares

When I start PowerSDR I get the following error:

Invalid F/W
  Metis 1.8
  Mercury 3.2
  Penny v2.2.3

Metis Address is as follows:

  IP  169.254.247.43
  MAC:   00.09:46.05:f7:2b

Does anyone have any idea what may be the problem?
