Ken,
That's pretty much exactly what Doug said he had checked in: an update to
PowerSDR to support properly multiple network adapters on a PC running
Windows.  I do not know how well it supports multiple Metis/Hermes boards,
but it should now properly support discovering Metis regardless of which
Ethernet adapter's port Metis is connected with.  This allows you to not
have to configure either the PC Ethernet adapter or Metis to achieve
success.
