[hpsdr] Using CW Skimmer with HPSDR - the good oil!

Hi Steve

Using CW Skimmer in Softrock IF mode with PowerSDR and VAC on my HPSDR, I
can see about +/- 9.5KHz from the frequency set on PowerSDR (i.e. 19kHz in
total). This is done by clicking/dragging, using the mouse, on the CW
Skimmer display and dragging the 0KHz (i.e. where the frequency to which
PowerSDR is tuned) to the top or the bottom of the display. By virtue of
its design, CW Skimmer can only show about 9.5kHz in its window at any one
time.

That being said, when the sampling rate of CW Skimmer is set to 48kHz, I
think the software is actually decoding signals over about a 48kHz bandwidth
(i.e. 24KHz above and below the frequency). It's just you can't actually
view 48kHz in the CW Skimmer window.

Hope that makes sense.

What bandwidth do you get on Softrock mode?
