[hpsdr] Strange behaviour of PowerSDR

There is a way to change some Netbooks so that your "Desktop" is 1024x768,
and scroll up and down the 1024x600 actual display within that larger size.
Granted, this is not optimal, but at least you can get to all the controls.

On my original Acer Aspire One Netbook (Win XP), I first changed the display
to 1024x768 by right-clicking on the desktop, select Properties, then the
settings tab, and move the screen resolution pointer so that 1024x768 is
selected. Now, click Apply. This mode can also be used with an external
monitor, where you will see the entire 1024x768.

The desktop should now be 1024x768, with only 1024x600 being displayed at a
time. you can scroll up or down to move the display by moving the mouse
pointer to the top or bottom of the screen. If you open PowerSDR, almost
all the program can be seen, and you can scroll up and down to see whatever
is "cut-off" at any given moment.

Again, this is NOT optimal, but at least all of the PowerSDR controls can be
gotten to, and changed if necessary.

My 9" acer netbook has always chopped off the bottom bit of the screen in
powersdr despite anything i could do. i tried using a 14" netbook with the
same result its the "x600" resolution on netbooks is the issue

Kiss console does the same. I did get a version that allowed me to see the
whole powersdr window but that was not included in the merged kiss console
release

The same issue also happened with powersdr and the flex1500 with the acer. i
mentioned it to flex the day they released the 1500. They said they were
looking into it but after 12 months without resolution and some other
continuing issues with latency i sold it

My eventual resolution was to buy an "ex corporate lease" hp nc-6220 laptop
for $200 which i can use portable with the hpsdr chassis

Hi all, I'm trying to run powersdr 2.2.3 on an acer netbook with a screen
resolution of 1024 X 600.
The console display is truncated about the middle of the passband buttons.
If I try to enlarge the window, the console expands but the truncation
remains.
If I run powersdr on a desktop computer with a 1600 X 1200 monitor, then I
can see the whole console.
Has anyone got in to the same problem ?
