[hpsdr] REV and FWR power inputs Hermes -HPSDR

A couple of coffee's and a look at prints and I answered some of my questions:
Alex FWR/REV and the DB25 Connector FwD/REV are the same analog input if you trace everything out. My bad where I rqan into issues was running power through Hercules and Alex at same time the power signals from Herc and Alex collide at Penelope interface if you try and run power through both. And pins 12 and 11 on Hermes are not in parallel with Fwr/Rev from Alex connector. So that takes me back to question on what type of connectors are planned for Alex on end plates of Hermes?
I will need to run a seperate FWR/REV cable out to breakout box for Hercules unless the programmers want to use pins 12 and 11 on J16 as alternate power inputs when Hercules Control is checked.
Should know better than send out e-mails before coffee!

>HPSDR has 2 FWR/REV power inputs connections, one set on Penelope and the other on Mercury. If you choose ALEX the power comes from Mercury if not then Penelope (Db25 Connector).

>Now with Hermes there is an ALEX header for FWR/REV input however I do not see the equilvient input that mirrors Penelope inputs. Except I see pins 10 and 11 on J16 are Aux Analog inputs. Could these be used as FWR/REV inputs to mimic Penelope inputs on Db25 connector?

>The reason I ask is the it would simplify using Hercules Amp. If you select Hercules amp in external control screen it could tell software to use these inputs as Fwr/Rev inputs.

>While we are on subject (sorta) of Alex and Hermes what is the plan on connector to use for Alex control on end plates?? If I need to run a connection from Hercules to Alex inputs I would like to use what is planned for later.

>On calibration screen there is a TX calibration box, I can not seem to get this to work, it may be that I am using power input on Penelope and not from Alex.
>
>Sorry if I am missing a few details it was a late session, good news is Hermes is controlling band relays now on Hercules. Have not tried running smoke through just yet.
