[hpsdr] firmware files

I'm just about to fire up my OpenHPSDR (Metis, Mercury, and Penelope)
and as I look over the firmware files in the download section of the
website, I'm confused.  I see:

Metis_V1.9.rbf
Mercury_V3.3.rbf
Penelope_V1.7.rbf

and also:

Mercury_JTAG.rbf
Penelope_JTAG.rbf

So there appears to be only one choice for Metis but which do I use for
Mercury and Penelope?  Or do I somehow download both rbf files.  Which
one first?
