[hpsdr] Computer does not find Hermes

[KF6C]

I have a windows 7 laptop MSI GT680R . It has a Realtek PCIe GBE Family
Controller. 

 

I cannot get it to find  Hermes. It will find and works well with an Anritsu
MS3034 using the same cable and Controller.

 

Does anyone have any experience with this computer or suggestions where the
problem may be.

 

The LED results are intermittent and differ between two Hermes boards which
are both as supplied by TAPR.
