[hpsdr] JT65HF with Hermes?

I'm trying to setup to run JT65HF with Hermes.  I am using VAC.  
Transmitt works OK as verified by another ham.  However, I am unable to 
decode what is received.

      Levels to JT65HF look good on its bar graph
      Waterfall display looks good
      Under Information:  MSync found no sync points  (most times)
      Signals sound normal on headphones

Any ideas what I have setup wrong?  I'm using PowerSDR v2.2.7  The 
firmware was updated last month to the latest version at that time.
