All, thanks to off line help from Joe, K5SO, and Doug, W5WC the source of
all my PSDR problems was a corrupted database.xml file. Nothing wrong with
either the firmware or software. Here again, it was "just me". Want to
share what I know for the benefit of others, who like me, are a bit at sea
with some of these details.

The key understanding for me was to know that the database.xml files are
"hidden" files. Went to Folder Options in the Windows Control Panel and
selected the option "Show hidden files, folders, and drives". Then it is
possible view the Users/AppData/Roaming/FlexRadio Systems folder and the
included folder for the version of PSDR that I was using. The database.xml
file for that version of PSDR is in that version folder. I deleted that
file and manually reconfigured PSDR. If I had saved an uncorrupted copy of
the database.xml file, I could have pasted the saved version into that
version folder and not have had to manually re-configure PSDR. Live and
learn.

The software and firmware now function better than ever. Thanks to Doug
and Joe for their fine work.

Regards,

John, W7FU
