[hpsdr] Win 7 64bit and VAC???

Hi John,

I am using VBCable with PowerSDR v2.2.14 for fldigi and WSPR under Win 7
64-bit.

Initially everything worked. However, after making a number of
configuration changes, for WSPR the audio was no longer modulating the
signal on transmit, although PTT was working. Fldigi continued to transmit
just fine.

I discovered a bug in WSPR that caused the problem. When audio devices are
reconfigured in Win 7, such as changing the default device in windows, the
numbering scheme for audio devices changes in WSPR, however, the audio
devices in use that are displayed in the WSPR setup station parameters menu
are not updated. To select the correct audio input/output devices, open the
drop down menus for Audio In and Audio Out in WSPR and select the new
correct device number. Now I'm back to transmitting.

You also have to pay attention to which devices are set as default and
which are muted in the audio setup.

It is likely that JT65 has a similar problem. Hope this helps.
