[hpsdr] How to adjust post-compressor gain?

How to I adjust the gain between the compressor output and the modulator 
output? The compressor output is limiting at 0dB for a wide range of inputs,
BUT but the resultant PEP is below that obtained in Tune, or with 2-tone.
