The problem you’re having with the level calibration routine is most likely due to an inappropriate or corrupted database.xml file, I think.  Try deleting that file so that mRX PowerSDR can rebuild it from scratch.  

Likely that’ll fix you up.  The level calibration routine works fine here with the latest firmware for Metis, etc. and mRX PowerSDR software.
