[hpsdr] Metis f/w update funny

Hi Chris,

In the very early releases of Metis code there was a 'feature' in the code
that read the MAC address from the EEPROM whereby the first byte was read
incorrectly.

This has been fixed in subsequent releases so I don't anticipate it being
an issue in the future.
