No, actually not. The original COAX version of Ethernet was CSMA/CD but
modern UTP Ethernet uses switches which buffer Ethernet frames to prevent
collisions. So a single Ethernet switch in your network will do the job.
Yes, it should be a Gig-E switch but those are pretty cheap now.
