[hpsdr] PC USB Microphone setup

I'm not having good luck setting up a quality USB microphone on a Win 7 machine to work on PowerSDR 3.0.16
With ANAN-100D on version 1.8 (display as ver 2.3). I have no problem setting the mic with Windows.
Recording Device is set to 100% and shows all 9 bars when I speak. I can only get 25 watts output regardless of all of the settings in VAC1
whether I use the Win device or via VAC link.

Ideas?
