Hi.

After a long time using only Hermes and Angelia, I tried to program Metis,
Mercury and Penelope with the latest firmware versions. Before I started
to install new firmware, I tested the old configuration and it worked OK.

First I removed the old versions of HPSDRProgrammer and HPSDRBootloader
from the PC and installed the last found on OpenHPSDR/ Downloads.
(HPSDRProgrammer_V2_nopcap Windows installer Version 2.0.4.1 -- 2013-9-28
and HPSDRBootloader Windows installer Version 2.0.4.1 -- 2013-10-12)

When trying to program Metis I obviously did something wrong. I contacted
Phil.VK6AP and following his advice, I used the USB-Blaster to install the
Bootloader and then programmed the new Metis_v2.6.rbf using the
Bootloader. This went OK.

I then tried to program Mercury and Penelope using Metis in Bootloader
mode but to no success. Then I used the USB-Blaster to install the
firmware into the two. (Mercury_v3.4.rbf and Penelope_v1.8.rbf) But it was
the same, no contact with Mercury and PSDR stopped and reported "Invalid
Firmware. You have Metis:2.6 Mercury: 25.5 Penny:25.5"

I then tried to use Metis again to program Mercury with an older version
(v3.3) that worked before. Now Metis and Mercury works OK when used
without Penny but the firmware version for Mercury is reported as v3.4.

I tried to do the same with Penny but it is not working. If I mark: Bypass
Firmware check, the reported firmware versions are: Metis: 2.6! Mercury:
3.4 Penny:25.5. No sound and nothing on the display.

I am using PowerSDR OpenHPSDR mRX_FFT v3.1.5 (6/23/13)

Any suggestions????

73, Kjell
