[hpsdr] Hermes - PTT and ssb latency

Forgive me for my ignorance, but I would like to know if also the system composed by Metis, Mercury, Pennylane, Pennywhistle and Alex is affected by te same latency problem. 
If I monitor my SSB emission , there is a noticeable delay between my mouth and what I hear from the monitor radio, but I failed to notice if the PTT release is clipping the end of my emission.
