Joe,

I'm curious; what was the cause of the power difference between v2.7 and v2.8?

Mike, 

Well that’s a bummer.  I thought we had something here with this filter switching “fix” that would cure your problem but it may be that filter switching isn’t the culprit with your unit after all.  It’s interesting that most other folks don’t seem to have that problem; I sure don’t here. 

I’ll have to think on it some more I guess.  Thanks for the tests.
