I have a Pico-PSU but have been reluctant to use is because it is likely to add to the already large amount of noise generated by various SM PSUs scattered around the shack.

Also it removes the very convenient PowerPole take off point on the front of Pandora.

I just picked that value at random based on the LPU errata sheet at http://openhpsdr.org/support/LPU/LPU_Errata_V2_2.pdf to use as an example of a part that could be mounted to a larger heat sink.
