[hpsdr] New kind of Hermes

Perhaps abandon is too strong.   Up until a few months ago my dsp59 board was sort of running as an audio scope.  Just because we move on, the utility we enjoy today remains.  

I too am not personally ready to move on.  I think the point where we can cover the first few hundred MHz is a good time to change hardware.
