Hi John,

Thanks to you and Warren for waving the openHPSDR flag at Pacificon.

Regarding Chirp vs WSPR, you are quite correct that Chirp is a beacon
mode. It decodes 10dB below an equivalent power WSPR signal and indicates
the presence of a signal in 1 second.

We don't know how long the 2m path we intend to test will be open - hence
the need for the fast decode.
