[hpsdr] Status of Hermes Gigabit

Yep, everyone is entiltled to their own opinions for sure.  My opinion and its origin are different yet and I’m sure there are others that are different from what has been mentioned today.  

In my particular case, I joined the OpenHPSDR project principally to enable me to be able to expand the capabilities of my amateur radio astronomy efforts and I definitely need wider bandwidth for many of those applications.  Indeed, helping with ham band capabilities is actually a sideline for me relative to my main interest in SDR, in fact.  I have always been, and continue to be, intensely interested in developing wider bandwidth capabilities for our OpenHPSDR hardware/firmware/software.
