We have chosen 12 VDC batteries and want to operate everything from them in a stand-alone box. The project is going well, but the selected PC (a Ragnarok HTPC of DreamState Technologies aka KodiNow in Toronto) was beautiful, but maybe too good to be true. I ordered June 2 and even spoke with the DreamState guy several times on the phone, received an order form with "paid" on it, all seemed well, but nothing is even dispatched as of now (July 17). A lot of prompt promises on emails and phone calls of sending tracking information, but it stays with promises. Since this week he does not answer my calls and mails anymore. So I will proceed to reclaim my money via my creditcard company.

Does anyone of you know a good alternative, which is 12 VDC in, compact, passively cooled and running HPSDR on a breeze?
