Frank, you need a bit more than a bit, hi . The transformer L at 500kHz has to
be 4 times the L at 2MHz (usual cutoff) or as a figure around 50µH!

Watch your drain current on 630m. The transformer reactance is a bit low for
500khz.

Type 43 might be a better core material.
