Don't worry Bert!

The only openHPSDR hardware which will not work with the 'new protocol' and
the 1Gb/s interface is the Atlas based version.

Hi,

I'm getting a bit concerned about the "new protocol" firm- and software
now Apache labs has announced there new (8000) hardware.

Does this mean that the upcoming "new protocol" firm/software will only
work for the new Apache hardware?.

Are we now forced to buy expensive "closed hardware" (not even an
picture of the internal hardware!) from Apache labs when we want to
continue to use the open-HPSDR soft/firmware?.
