[hpsdr] CW on Atlas based systems

All:

I am finally connecting for CW in preparation for Field Day.

I need to be able to use an iambic paddle and a straight key (actually 
output from external keyer).

The Metis documentation is pretty clear about how to connect an iambic 
paddle.  It i less clear about a straight key.  Can anybody clarify?  I 
see iambic as a setup option.  I can live with going into setup to 
change between iambic and a straight key.  The question is, where do I 
connect the straight key -- to the PTT connection??


Also, if I'm using logging software on the same machine which normally 
uses a serial port for keying, does anybody have experience with the 
Virtual Serial Ports in this use?
