Hi Isaac,

Indeed, in depth and current information seems to require a lot of digging.
There's a lot of old information, but that's not a bad thing if you want
history of the hardware.

I've found it worthwhile to visit the web sites of people posting in here -
especially if they're active developers of software or hacking the
hardware.  For example, k9ivb.net has some great Hermes data.  G0ORX keeps
up a decent Blogspot page focused on software for HPSDR equipment.  K0JTA
keeps up a decent page at qrz.com.

<grin>Essentially, the information is out there but no current and well
curated list exists.
