Hello Matthew,

Thanks for thinking about this issue and posting your comments.

I have tried a direct connect using a static address on both Pi3 and Metis.

I am sure I am not having blocking on the network because I can see the traffic using wireshark on the Pi3.

I have some ideas about the issue but will wait until I am sure I have this resolved before posting anything.
