[hpsdr] Chirp Beacon App Location

How many active beacon stations are there, and do they report out to a
spotting website a la WSPR? Or is this more of a sked kind of thing at this
point, with people chatting with each other over the internet about their
results?

Is the software available in a stand-alone form that can be integrated via
the PowerSDR VAC interface? Or is all this done in the FPGA? At ~3KM/uS,
for any kind of range accuracy it would almost certainly have to be done in
the FPGA, with a GPS 1 PPS input applied to one of the user inputs.

I would be interested in learning more than what was available on those
few, old slides.

Thanks,

Scott/w-u-2-o
