[hpsdr] Protocol 2 Status?

Hello

being an open source guy I would have a huge problem if openhpsdr's open
source firware was switched to closed source, whatever my "level" of use
of the product...

Open source is what allows continued development of these project.

If open source tools cannot compile the protocol successfully, then I
think that it's time to invent a new protocol that does :)
