[hpsdr] DSP library

Can someone provide me with some background on DTTSP DSP library vs WDSP DSP library?  WDSP is far better documented and is currently used in OpenHPSDR but was wondering about the history of the two.

Has anyone added broadcast wideband FM demodulation to WDSP?
